Hi there, I'm Felicity. I'm a communicator with professional experience in strategic comms, digital media and journalism in Europe, Asia and the United States.

I enjoy bringing people and ideas together, and seeing those visions through. I am excited about being in an era where "real life" and digital are woven into each other, transforming the way we understand and inhabit our world. Above all I love the way words, images and stories have the power to engage people and impact lives.

Previously, I was part of the new media campaign of a successful presidential bid; helped a government agency plan their communications strategy; and supported press work at a UN tribunal, also jumpstarting their social media outreach project.

I come from a visual storytelling tradition. I was a news anchor in Beijing, and have regularly freelanced as a correspondent and producer for Bloomberg and the Associated Press in Manila. I can shoot, edit and write to sound and images.

The ability to communicate ideas is the most powerful asset we have as human beings. We should start conversations to make our world even just a little better. I've found people who believe the same, and together we founded the ProPinoy Project, a registered non-profit that seeks to engage the global Filipino community in discourse that can lead to transformative action.

I'm doing a masters in Politics and Communication at the London School of Economics and Political Science (2013), and obtained my bachelors in Journalism, summa cum laude, from Boston University (2009).
